Ground investigation works at our soon to be announced development in Woodsetton, Dudley

by Andy Evans, in Development News , New Homes

Last week we started ground investigation works at one of our soon to be announced developments in Woodsetton, Dudley. The team from Grange Geo, our Geotechnical & Environmental consultants, were on site digging trial pits and drilling for soil core samples to establish the ground condition, the water table level, ground water permeability and to monitor for any ground gas. The soil core samples taken will now been sent off for laboratory analysis and the results together with all the measurements taken on site will get fed into the Ground Investigation report which will be used by our design team to establish the type of foundations required and any special requirements for dealing with rain water and other environmental issues that may be identified.

As can be seen from the photos, the site is located in a lovely elevated position overlooking open parkland.

Woodsetton is located 2.5 miles north of Dudley town centre, just 1 mile from the A4123 Birmingham New Road and 5 miles south of Wolverhampton city centre. Our plan is to build 24 new homes on the site comprising of a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bed houses which will be available to purchase.
