Ground investigation works at our soon to be announced development north of Sutton Coldfield

by Andy Evans, in Development News , New Homes , News

The team from Grange Geo, our Geotechnical & Environmental consultants, digging trial pits and drilling for soil core samples to establish the ground condition, the water table level, ground water permeability and to monitor for any ground gas.  The soil core samples taken have now been sent of to a laboratory for analysis and the results together with all the measurements taken on site will get fed into a report which will be used by our design team to establish the type of foundations required and any special requirements for dealing with rain water and other environmental issues that may be identified.

As can be seen from the photos, the site is located in a stunning semi-rural location that is surrounded by fields just north of Sutton Coldfield, close to Streetley, Aldridge and Little Aston. Our plan is to build 7 detached 4/5 bed new homes on the site.
