Vacancy: Senior Site Manager / Project Manager

Location:
Site Based, West Midlands & Surrounding Counties.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications Required:
To succeed in this role you will need to have extensive experience, gained over a number of years, of being responsible for managing housing development sites from start to finish.

You will need to be experienced at setting up and managing the overall build programme, managing sub-contractors, and using your own initiative and decision making to ensure that project delivery deadlines are met and the highest standards of site safety and build quality are maintained. You will ideally have experience of Timber Frame / Modern Methods of Construction. You will also need to be commercially aware and able to monitor and manage the use of labour, materials and other resources to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.

Our company is virtually paper free and makes extensive use of IT systems to streamline our operations, so you will need to be proficient in the use of IT including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ideally you will be someone that has the ambition, drive and skills to grow with us and progress into a Contract Management role or ultimately head up our construction operations as Head of Construction.

To demonstrate your capability you will ideally hold the following qualifications;

  • CSCS Black or White card (Construction Site Manager – Residential)
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Scaffold Awareness and Inspection
  • Experience of Timber Frame Construction

It would be useful if you also have;

  • MCIOB
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management
  • CPCS Telescopic Handler A17 Wheeled
  • CPCS Slinger/signaller/banksman A40
  • Asbestos Awareness
