Vacancy: Land Buyer / Land Manager


We’re seeking an outstanding Land Manager with big ambitions to take charge of our land buying activities, grow our pipeline of sites, and share in the rewards.

Knowle, Solihull

Role Description:
Reporting to the Managing Director, and based out of our high quality offices in the centre of Knowle, Solihull, you will be a key member of the management team. You will be responsible for securing new development opportunities within our target geography of the West Midlands and surrounding counties, and growing a rolling pipeline of sites under contract in support of the company’s strategy and ambitious growth plans. The role will include identification of potential opportunities, appraisals, negotiations, due diligence, through to point of purchase and obtaining required planning consent.

Experience & Skills Required:
To succeed in this role experience is essential. You will need to demonstrate a track record of successfully buying profitable sites. You’ll need to be self motivated, highly driven and have outstanding interpersonal skills and solid business acumen, specifically in residential property development, with detailed experience and knowledge of land appraisal. You will also ideally be well connected in the West Midlands property sector, with a good network of contacts that you can leverage to source and progress opportunities.

Working Hours:
This is a full time position, that will require flexibility in the days and hours worked in order to meet landowners, often outside of normal working hours, and perform the tasks required to achieve the results expected.

Start Date:
We want to fill this position by Q4 2020/ Q1 2021 and accept that we may have to wait for the right person to work a notice period with their current employer.
